Only about half of our congregation comes from a Lutheran back ground.
Our Community
We are a very friendly and hospitable group of people and our contemporary worship style appeals to the diverse mix of people that make up Good Shepherd. We enable those from different faith backgrounds to feel comfortable as well as those with no prior church experience. Community involvement is important to us and we seek ways to serve where we can.
Here are some ways we may be able to help you and those in our community.
Please contact us if you have any questions or if we can help you in any way.
Need to talk?
Sometimes you just need someone to talk to—about life, your problems, God, anything at all. Please call us. We’re here for you, no strings attached.
Baptisms
We’d love to welcome your child (or you) into our Christian community through baptism. Lutherans believe that baptism is much more than simply a naming ceremony for your child.
Weddings
We’re not surprised you’re looking at our beautiful church as a possible venue for your wedding. We’d be happy to talk to you about ways we can help to make your big day extra special.
Ladies
Our Know Your Bible (KYB) ladies group meets at the church every Tuesday at 09:30am and at 1pm. We also have a ladies coffee and card-making night at the church on the second Monday in the month at 7.30pm.
All ladies are welcome, whether you’re a regular or a new friend.
Men
We hold Men's Bible Study via Skype every Wednesday at 7.30pm. Contact John Hows for details or send us an email. We also hold regular lunches and golf days, so please check our events calendar for further details.
